FSD Academy: Sport Courses Open Evening with Presentation, Hot Food and Q&A

A warm welcome awaits you at FSD Academy for this relaxed and informal evening. Find out more about the FSD Academy experience and our 1 and 2 year BTEC / Active IQ courses in sport (football & futsal, fitness & personal training, mixed martial arts and combined sports). Meet founders Matthew Piper (former Premier League player with LCFC and Sunderland), Owen Johnson (dont.just.kick.it development centre founder) and FSD staff. FSD Academy offer a unique mix of sport, education and life skills and this evening will give you a good taster! With this college growing rapidly you can find out our 'magic ingredient' and why students feel at home in the 'FSD family'. Courses are available for school leavers (currently in year 11), but applications are also welcome from 17 and 18 year olds. Our full-time, 1 & 2 year courses lead to: > University or Apprenticeships > Professional Football or Semi-Professional Football / Sport > National League / Series Futsal > Football or Sports Coaching > Fitness Instruction or Personal Training > Other Careers in Sport and Leisure Since 2016 the success of the FSD Academy programme has seen us grow to almost 50 students and we welcome the opportunity to discuss places for new students, starting in September 2020. AFDA Open Day

The day will consist of a presentation outlining what our education package consists of, a practical football element (led by Muzzy Izzet and Steve Walsh) and a 1-2-1 interview with our education staff.
