If you have enjoyed History at GCSE you should enjoy it at A Level.
Course Details
The A level History course is changing in 2015. It will cover British and American History between the 17th and 20th Centuries. Specific details of the content and assessment are yet to be confirmed by AQA.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
There will be a coursework component worth 20% of the A level, which will involve an independently researched Historical Enquiry of 4,000 words.
Entry requirements
6 grade 5s (or equivalent), including at least a grade 5 in English Language or Literature.
At least a 5 in the relevant subject if taken.
5 in English Language is recommended.

A Level History is highly respected as being academically rigorous and has a high status in the marketplace.
