At AS level there are 2 x 1½ hour examinations:

Paper 1 3 compulsory sections including multiple choice, short answer questions and data response question.

Paper 2 One compulsory case study followed by approximately 7 questions

Exam Board: AQA

Any 5 Grade 4s at GCSE. If Business is taken at GCSE, a minimum grade 4 is required.

University courses in Business Studies. Employment in financial services, human resource management and the retail sector.

You could take this course to complement other advanced level courses such as Accounting or to prepare for the A2 part of an Advanced GCE in Business Studies, which could lead onto higher education in areas of business studies, marketing, accounting or more general highter education course. With further training, you would go into a job related to business tudies, marketing, finace and accounting, human resources and public relations. You could also go straight into a job as the AS GCE is a recognised qualification that would support a trainee management course within a company and help you develop the skills, understanding and experience to work towards management level.
