How will it be delivered and assessed?
Paper 1: Written examination, lasting 2 hours 15 minutes. 60% of the total AS qualification, 30% of the total A2 qualification
Paper 2: Written examination, lasting 1 hour 30 minutes. 40% of the total AS qualification, 20% of the total A2 qualification
Exam Board: Edexcel
Entry requirements
5 Grade 4’s and above to include at least a 4 in GCSE History if taken.

You could take this course to complement other advanced level courses or to prepare for the A2 part of an Advanced GCE in History, which could lead onto higher education in History or related subjects such as English, American Studies, Politics , Archaeology or more general courses.
