Course Summary

Our Launch Pad course is designed to help support young people gain the qualifications and skills they need to progress onto the next phase of their education. The course is 3 days per week with 2 hours per week of home study. Whilst with us you will work towards achieving your Functional Skills in Maths and English. We cover entry level 3 and up to level 2. Alongside this you will study Employability and Creative Media. We offer tasters around the College so you can see what is available for you to apply for after Launchpad. We have an extensive employability program and offer help with the personal development of each individual.

Course Details

Employability covers everything from interview skills to enterprise, and ensures your digital skills are up to speed and ready for the world of work. Creative Industries focuses on music technology; looking at music sequencing and production techniques along with how the music industry works. Group size is 25 and the group has a designated keyworker who will look after your pastoral needs. Careers and applications for the next course are also covered, and we offer taster sessions in a variety of technical areas across the College, to help you decide whats next, and set those all-important goals.
