The AS & A2 courses are each a one year course assessed at the end of Year 12 & 13, using four skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. At the end of the course, you will look back on your achievement and be proud of yourself.

Some activities include: debate on young people's involvement in the Spanish contemporary society, the modules taught in class aim to make students aware of Spanish society issues such as social exclusion, migration, crime, politics but also music, heritage and the advantages and disadvantages of new technology. This A level also includes a film and a book studyfrom the classic Spanish repertoire! .

Grade 6 or above in Spanish

The best jobs have traditionally gone to the best qualified, but now there is another dimension to recruitment. British companies who do more the 60% of their trade with the non-English speaking world are increasingly looking for graduates with more than one language. The modern economy is no longer a national, but a global one. There are very few British people able to converse in anything but English so employers are recruiting foreign graduates. Many of whom are almost as fluent in English as their mother tongue. In some cases, these young people are not only being employed in addition to their British counterparts but instead of them.
