About us

The DNF programme is a football education BTEC Sport programme. We offer the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development . The Pearson Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development is 180 credits and has 1080 Guided Learning Hours (GLH). It consists of SEVEN mandatory units plus FIVE optional units for a combined total of 180 credits. This award is the equivalent to 3 A Levels, and is all assessed through assignments or practical activities. The course allows access to Higher Education and a potential degree pathway with DNF and Loughborough.

For learners who do not achieve their Maths and English GCSE grade 4, we provide tuition through face to face contact to allow the learner to retake the following year.

Student support

Students will get a full programme of tutorials to help educate and develop knowledge in key areas such as Safeguarding, Internet Safety etc. We have an onsite safeguarding and welfare officer.

There are regular opportunities to learn new skills and qualifications through First Aid Courses.

What makes us different?

The programme is run by ex-professional, Mark Draper. With over 500 professional appearances under his belt, it is fair to say that Mark Draper knows a thing or two about what it takes to have a successful career. After starting with Notts County, playing over 200 times, Mark turned out in the top-flight for Leicester Aston Villa and Southampton via time in La Liga with Rayo Vallecano England and England u21s. But instead of basking in his past glory, Draper is now using all his experience to help the stars of the future – in whatever career path they want to take – by running the Team DNF (Draper Norton Football) Academy. Mark’s Mission, “We believe that talent at all levels should be nurtured and that we should make concerted efforts to ensure players receive the recognition they deserve so that they may aspire to reach their goals.”
