Bradgate Sixth Form is a very successful Sixth Form and we are very proud of the carefully planned suite of A Levels, Extended Certificates and BTEC courses we deliver. We are proud of the full range of subjects we provide which have enabled many of our students to follow their career aspirations into dentistry, medicine and veterinary, many of whom now attend one the Russell Group Universities as well as securing places at Oxbridge.  We ensure that each student leaves Bradgate Sixth Form having secured a destination which matches their aspirations, whether that be an apprenticeship, employment or university.

There is a dedicated team of staff who work collaboratively to support you in all respects; academically, pastorally and with career guidance. Each student is assigned a personal tutor and a tutor group. Your personal tutor will provide individual care, support and guidance and will also monitor academic progress. 

We encourage our students to aim high and be ambitious! Whether you are going on to university, or are considering a Higher Apprenticeship, you will benefit greatly from the extensive support and guidance given.

Bradgate Sixth Form is one of only two Sixth Forms within the East Midlands to be part of The Elephant Group.

Bradgate Sixth Form supports  Year 12 and 13 students with the academic potential to attend leading universities, and access top professions such as law, medicine, engineering or teaching.​ Working with a regional collaboration of Head Teachers and top universities including Oxbridge, Sheffield, York, Exeter, Newcastle, St George’s Medical School, SOAS and King’s College London, Bradgate Sixth Form offers the Elephant Access programme to Y12 and 13 students. ​

Elephant Access provides a range of activities, trips and experiences to support students’ aspirations, attainment and applications to top universities, and ensure our most academically capable students access top third universities at the end of their time with us.​
