Course Summary

Sociology is the study of human relationships and behaviour. It explains the behaviour of individuals by looking at ideas based on our membership of social groups, such as families, schools and the workplace. It is an exciting, thought-provoking subject highly relevant to contemporary life. Through doing presentations you will learn how to present ideas orally and in writing, and develop strong research and IT skills. You will also be able to apply theoretical Sociological perspectives to everyday life.
