Course Summary
Our Business, IT, and Media program is designed for learners who want to develop practical skills, confidence, and understanding of the business, digital technology, and media industries.
Build confidence. Create ideas. Take your next step.
Business, IT, and Media is designed for learners who are preparing for Level 1 study, traineeships, or employment pathways. The course takes a practical, hands-on approach, helping learners build confidence through activities such as designing products, using digital technology for real-world tasks, managing simple projects, and presenting ideas clearly in a supportive learning environment.
Through project-based learning, learners will explore how ideas are developed into products and services, how technology is used in modern business and media settings, and how to work effectively as part of a team. The course also develops creativity, communication, problem-solving, and personal development, alongside essential employability and digital skills.
Learners will collaborate on practical tasks to design and create products, complete simple projects, use technology purposefully, and share their ideas with others. They will also build awareness of money management, online safety, and responsible technology use in everyday life and the workplace.
This programme is practical, accessible, and focused on progression, making it an excellent choice for learners developing independence, confidence, and readiness for further vocational study.
