Course Summary
Further Mathematics is an extension of the A Level Mathematics course, which can only be studied by those already doing A Level Mathematics. It is a challenging qualification, which extends and deepens your knowledge and understanding in the areas of mechanics, pure and discrete mathematics.
Further Mathematics is offered as both a one-year AS and a two-year A Level. This course is recommended as a fourth A Level choice.

A-Level: 3 x 2 hour examinations at the end of the 2-year course; AS Level: 2 x 1.5 hour

Level 8 or above in GCSE Mathematics
