Level 1 Business: Certificate in Employability

This course will appeal to you if you would like to find out more about Business. You will gain an understanding of your entrepreneur skills and abilities, generate and research enterprise ideas, marketing and advertising and you will put your enterprise ideas into action.

In addition to your course specialism, Functional Skills maths and English, Employability Skills and Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) are embedded within your programme of study. At the beginning of your course you will complete a diagnostic assessment to identify your starting point level.

You will develop a portfolio of units. For each unit you will be given an assignment brief and a work log book.

You will gain a Short Course Award Business and Enterprise.

To access the Level 1 course you need to have gained an Entry Level 3 English qualification.

You need to be keen and motivated to join in with various activities.

If you gain the Level 1 Short Course Business and Enterprise and complete your ASDAN COPE Level 1 Certificate you can continue onto the Level 2 undertake a supported internship, traineeship, or apprenticeship.
