Course Summary

Studying on our 850-acre Brooksby Estate equipped with our very own Equestrian Centre, students benefit from expert tuition from event riders, dressage judges and highly qualified and experienced coaches. We are committed to developing your skills and knowledge to levels which exceed the increasing requirements of employers in the industry.

We have a range of horses on-site at Brooksby, from novice to advanced, and state-of-the-art facilities such as our Equine Rehabilitation Centre. We also offer the option of Working Livery at highly competitive rates for students who would like to bring their own horse to college.

Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English, Maths and Science OR Level 1 Animal Care and Entry 3 Functional Skills.

Please note that for the welfare of our horses there is a 13 stone weight limit for riding. This will be covered in more detail at a Ride/Practical Assessment which forms part of the Admissions process for these courses.

Your next steps...

Many of our Level 2 students go on to our Level 3 Equine course or into employment. After successfully completing Level 3, students can progress on to Higher Education and/or progress into successful careers across all areas of the Equestrian industry, including grooms, riding instructors, eventing, behaviourists, rehabilitation, industry-retail, feed companies and teaching.
