Level 3 Agriculture

Brooksby College has a rich heritage as a leading provider of agricultural courses in the East Midlands. For generations, students have gained excellent experience on our 850 acre Brooksby estate, getting hands-on training in every aspect of farming.

The vocational delivery of our courses enables you to get the very best out of your time with us. You will leave us 'work ready', having developed a great-skill set in arable agriculture and livestock, by learning the theory in practice, with real crops and real animals.

You will study units including; Professional Working Responsibilities; Land Based Machinery; Managing Agricultural Environments; Estate Skills; Livestock Husbandry. 5 GCSEs at a grade 4 or above, including English and Maths

Upon successful completion of this course, students may progress onto university, apply for an apprenticeship, or enter into employment within the industry. Previously, our Agriculture students have gone on to work as shepherds, herdsmen, tractor operators, agricultural representatives, estates managers and teachers.
