Course Summary

On the Level 3 Criminology course, you�ll learn about all aspects of crime from a social perspective: the causes of crime, its social impact and take a look into the criminals that are committing these acts. Criminologist study crime in an attempt to better understand what motivates the criminal to act in that way.

In Year 12 you will achieve the Level 3 Applied Certificate in Criminology and by the end of Year 13 you will have achieved the Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology which is equivalent to one A Level.

Entry requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements:
All Loughborough College Sixth Form courses have minimum entry requirements of at least five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English Language and Maths.

Subject Specific Entry Requirements:
English Language at grade 5.
