Course Summary
This qualification enables learners to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for working in a senior role with adults in Health and Social Care settings. The course will cover a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.
This two year course provides a thorough underpinning for employment in Health and Social Care professions, such as Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Social Worker, Midwifery, Primary Education, Counsellor or Care Home. Classroom theory, guest speakers and work experience combine to provide an interesting but challenging programme. Students complete 125 hours of work placement giving you an amazing headstart into the world of work.
Learners will be required to apply for a DBS as a part of their work placement module. This costs approximately �50. In addition, various trips and visits will be offered to students as a part of this couse, some of which may incur a cost.

Entry requirements
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths, English Language and preferably Science
