Level 1 Sport

This BTEC level 1 sports qualification aims to provide learners with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the sports industry.

During this course, students will gain experience in coaching, delivering sessions to nursery children, and gain an understanding of gym operations.

Completion of the course will allow progression onto the Level 2 Sport programme.

Job opportunities in sport and active leisure – an investigation of jobs and organisations in the sport and leisure industries; Working in the sport and active leisure – gain an understanding of what it is like to start work; How the body works – you will find out more about the body and how fitness and lifestyle can affect it.

4 GCSEs at Grade 2 or above.
