Entry requirements

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE’s at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification at a Merit grade.

Equipment required

You will be sent a materials list before enrolment, and most materials can be purchased from the College shop. However, paintbrushes are a must. In addition, you will be required to buy sketchbooks for each lesson. Tutors will advise you on what you need to purchase.

Your next steps...

Successful completion of the course is equal to four GCSEs at C and above and will enable you to progress onto a higher level course, or gain basic employment within the field of Art and Design. You can also take additional GCSEs alongside the qualification and will be expected to take 1 Functional Skill in Communication, depending on the results of your initial assessment.
