Level 2 Computer Maintenance

The course covers both Level 1 and Level 2 in a single year so people with little or no knowledge of the subject have a realistic starting point for their future. The curriculum also covers the installation of various pieces of software and the use of diagnostic tools to further advance the relevance of the course when entering into employment.

Basic Principles of Networking, Installing, configuring and testing ICT Networks, Basic Principles of an ICT System and Data Security, Basic Maintenance ICT equipment and systems, Introduction to Testing ICT systems, Introduction to Customer services

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

After completion you will progress onto the Level 3 computing course
