The course covers both Level 1 and Level 2 in a single year, so people with little or no knowledge of the subject have a realistic starting point for their future. The curriculum also covers the installation of various pieces of software and the use of diagnostic tools to further advance the relevance of the course when entering into employment.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

Equipment required

A full equipment list can be provided at enrolment/induction but will include; A Memory stick (At least 16GB) Notebook Pen & Pencil Toolkit
