Course Summary

This is an exciting general media course where you may build on skills you have already learnt at level 1 or at school or in your own spare time. It is assessed through assignments only. There are no exams.

On the course, you will learn photographic techniques, audio recording and editing, stop motion animation techniques, develop your own ideas for comics, TV studio production skills, complete a theory unit and also study graphic design.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

There are no exams

Entry requirements

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

Equipment required

You will need stationery (pads, pens, pencils etc.), a USB memory stick and a diary. An external hard drive is an advantage but not essential.
