Level 2 Health and Social Care

This course is a practical, work-related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. It introduces you to the employment area you have chosen and provides a good basis to go on to a more advanced work-related course.

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

With further training or study to level 3 and university, students go on to careers such as nursing, social work and residential care management. If you want to enter into work straight after this course, you could work in registered care homes, hospitals, nursing homes or health centres.
