Course Summary
On this course, you'll need to be good with your hands and have great attention to detail. You will build on the skills learned on level 1 and apply them to live community projects. As a student at NWSLC, you are not required to pay material fees. You will only need to obtain your own PPE kit, which includes overalls and steel toe cap boots. However, we might be able to support you with funding for your PPE equipment, just get in touch with us.
Course Details
Erect and dismantle equipment and platforms; Preparation of surfaces; Produce specialist decorative finishes; Applying wallpapers to walls and ceilings; Safe and efficient working practices; English and maths functional skills
Entry requirements
Completion of painting and decorating qualification or equivalent.

Your next steps...
Once you have completed this course, you will be able to go onto study the Level 2 Painting and decorating course or progress onto a Level 2 Apprenticeship, where you will develop your skills further and then be ready to go and work in the industry.
