Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning

This course is ideal if you are aged 16-18 and looking for a career in early years education, childcare or assisting teaching. You will be required to attend a school or college placement for one day a week working with children. You will get the opportunity to study English and maths if you need to too.

The Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning has been designed to provide students with an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school or college environments.

You can progress into roles such as teaching assistant or learning mentor. You can also progress to a higher-level apprenticeship or degree course.
