Level 2 Travel and Tourism

This course not only gives you an insight into the Travel and Tourism sector, but also gives you the skills and knowledge to become part of this rapidly expanding industry and can lead you into employment or onto a higher level Travel and Tourism course.

Structure of the Travel and Tourism Industry; Worldwide Travel and Tourism Destinations; Customer Service and Selling Skills; UK Travel Destinations; Resort Representatives; Promotional Activities; Interpersonal skills.

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.

The majority of students progress to a higher academic level after successful completion of this course (BTEC Diploma in Travel and Tourism for example). Alternatively, career opportunities can be found at travel agencies, tour operators, tourist information centres, airports, airlines and visitor attractions.
