Course Summary

The City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism covers key areas of knowledge and those all-important practical skills required to be a success in the Travel and Tourism Industry.

We will help you to gain a solid foundation in this growing industry, whilst also developing your essential skills required for employment and career progression. Alongside this we will help to develop you if you have an ambition to progress onto further qualifications and training if that is the route you prefer.

Don’t worry if you didn’t quite get the English and maths grades you needed as this course runs in combination with GCSE English and maths and Functional Skills English and maths.

This is a very important combination for those of you who require a retake, as employers and universities are increasingly requiring applicants to demonstrate at least a Grade 4 or equivalent during the application process.

Our Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism is the perfect stepping stone to lead onto our BTEC Level 3 qualification in Travel and Tourism or similar level course.

It also equips you with essential skills and knowledge to enter employment within the workplace.

Who is the course suitable for?

This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in travel & tourism or working with the public in general. It is also suitable if you want to build your knowledge and skills around the Travel & Tourism Industry whilst gaining those essential English and maths qualifications.
