This massage-based course is for anyone interested in holistic therapies and a full-body approach to health and wellness. It is ideal for those returning to the industry after a break or who are looking to work in a spa or set up their own business.

This course is perfect for students leaving school or mature students looking to work in a spa setting.

You will get experience by working in our College spa that has great facilities including a sauna, steam room and dry floatation tank.

Past learners have been employed in spas and salons, including Ragdale Hall and have also set up their own businesses from home, which offers flexibility to fit in with a family.

Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
Provide body massage treatments
Provide Indian head massage
Carry out a massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils
Provide stone therapy treatments
Provide body wrapping and flotation treatments

Entry requirements

Entry requirements are Passed Level 2 Beauty Therapy to college standards or Four Grade 4’s, including maths and English.

Equipment required

Purchase of a college uniform and a course kit containing essential practical tools and equipment will be required.
