Level 3 Fashion and Textiles

If you are considering a career in the exciting world of fashion, this course will give a realistic insight into the industry. You will learn from highly experienced tutors who will help you to develop your style and design skills. Alongside the course students will get the opportunity to go on field trips to Museums and Fashion events to help develop their understanding of the industry. You will be based at our specialist Creative campus at Hinckley and have access to an impressive sewing room and have access to the latest design software in our tech suites.

Design, illustration and presentation; Pattern cutting; Garment Manufacture; Contextual studies; Computer aided fashion design

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade C/4 or above or a relevant Level 2 qualification.

The programme provides a nationally recognised qualification for those who wish to move on to Higher Education at Degree or HND level. Students may progress onto the HND in Design for Fashion and Textiles at the College. It also provides good opportunities for those wishing to enter the fashion industry or set up their own business.
