Course Summary

This course covers the key knowledge and practical skills required in the games industry. The course is designed to be practical in nature and takes you through the project-based workflow required by the industry through concept, research, design, development, testing, and evaluation. You will complete 3 projects in the first year and 3 in the second. Both years have a final larger project which gives you an opportunity to show off the skills you have learnt throughout the year. In total you will create a minimum of 6 games and a variety of 2D, 3D and audio assets over the course for your portfolio.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade C/4 or above or a relevant Level 2 qualification.
