This course is for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the uniformed services such as the Police, Fire, Ambulance, Prison/Probation Services, Army, Navy and Air Force, or wishing to progress to higher education.

Course Details

Students on this course will study five units:

Government, Policies and the Public Services
Leadership and Teamwork
Citizenship and Diversity
Understanding Discipline in the Public Services
Fitness Testing and Training

Entry requirements

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (1 MUST be English or Maths)

Equipment required

Indoor and Outdoor Sports kit/footwear.

The Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification designed to give you a good understanding of the working practices of all the Public Services. You can either seek employment or progress onto a BTEC Level 3 Diploma (Subject to meeting relevant progression criteria).
