LifeWorks courses have been designed to bridge the gap between leaving college or school courses and entering the workplace, and is exclusively for learners with special educational needs.

Course Details

Learners will complete two work experience modules year-round, namely: Running a café (food preparation, health and safety, cleaning, money management, and customer service) and running a second-hand shop (sourcing donations, pricing items, stock rotation, money management, and customer service). Both work experience modules are run on-site, in small groups, and with the help of support staff where necessary. Optional modules are: Animal Care, Maths and/or English functional skills, and Independent Living Skills.

Entry requirements

Learners must be aged between 19-25 and have an Education, Health, and Care Plan
