Your next steps...

The course encourages you to develop a strong understanding of contemporary issues and debates. Sociology combines well with a range of Humanities, Arts and Social Science courses which encourage you to develop your ability to discuss and communicate ideas, including English, History, Law, Health and Social Care, Philosophy and Ethics and Psychology. It is a good choice for a wide range of career and university routes, developing widely recognised skills: critical thinking, research skills and a sound understanding of the society we live in.
