Our Business and Travel course combines essential employability skills with an introduction to the business and visitor economy, making learning relevant, engaging and hands-on. You will build core personal and teamwork skills such as being organised, working effectively with others, and developing a personal progression plan to support future goals.

You will explore how businesses and tourism organisations operate, including branding products, researching topics, contributing to events, and recording income and expenditure. These activities help you understand how real businesses function in everyday contexts.

Within the Travel and Tourism pathway, you will explore local visitor attractions and travel and tourism in the UK, gaining insight into customer needs and the importance of customer service in hospitality and tourism environments. Practical tasks focus on developing communication skills, professionalism, and an understanding of how positive customer experiences support successful businesses.
