Level 2 Barbering

This is a full-time intensive one year programme, intended for learners who wish to develop the necessary personal and technical skills required to work as a junior barber in the Barbering industry. Applicants will need an interest in fashion, creativity and working with people. The course is delivered by industrial experts and covers a range of practical skills in gents cutting styling and colouring. Through practical assessments, assignments and on-line tests learners will be able to gain insight into the barbering industry, as well as learning how to shampoo, style, colour and cut gents hair including facial hair. Learners will also learn the relevant employability skills required developing communication skills, team work and problem solving.

Entry requirements are 4 GCSE at Grade D/3 or above or a relevant Level 1 qualification.
