YEP usually only accepts learners with education, health and care plans (EHCPs), however, if you feel YEP is the right setting, please continue to apply and we will aim to see if a suitable program is available, and aim to meet your needs. YEP is a small group / high support setting. Many of our learners prefer not to attend mainstream settings.
The Silver Arts Award requires learners to complete a personal portfolio in two main units: Arts Practice and Pathways and Arts Leadership. Key criteria include planning and carrying out an arts challenge, creating a portfolio that demonstrates artistic imagination, and taking on an arts leadership role by planning and reviewing an arts project. The qualification develops skills in areas like project planning, problem-solving, communication, and leadership.
Course Details
You will be enrolled onto a Study Programme, a recognised full-time programme which will in addition to the Silver Arts Award will include Maths, English, and employability skills.
We will also work on your Personal and Social Development (PSD).
Small class sizes of 8-10.
We can also provide expert counselling and 'Understanding ADHD' sessions.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Assessment is continuous and involves building up a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the course.

A level 1 music qualification.
